The CPO Course

The two-day course meets the requirements of the National Swimming Pool Foundation (NSPF) Certified Pool Operators (CPO) certification. The CPO course is a nationally recognized certification and is required in many states. The certification is good for 5 years. The National Swimming Pool Foundation CPO Course is a two (2) day training course that is a nationally recognized program for Commercial Pool and Spa Operators. When you successfully complete the course, the National Swimming Pool Foundation will certify you and give you a permanent registration number recognized in all 50 states.

All students will use the NSPF Pool/Spa operators handbook and will be taught in a relaxed environment. Our lecturers are experienced in the operation, management, and design of commercial and public pools of all sizes. You will be trained in the most advanced techniques, safety, water chemistry, pool management, and maintenance in this course. The techniques and training you receive will apply to the day-to-day operation requirements of your own pool.

As a pool operator, you have a responsibility to protect your patrons life, safety, and wellbeing while they use your facility. The NSPF Pool/Spa operator course is designed not only for the pool operator, but also provides valuable information to aquatic directors, supervisors, pool owners, managers, recreation directors, and engineers who manage/operate swimming pools throughout the United States.
